Search Tips

You don't have to write the whole word you're searching for - you only need a part of it, e.g. talleb or eback to find tallebacken. You can use this when you're not sure how a name or word is spelled, or when there are several alternative spellings, e.g. larinet to find both klarinett, clarinet and clarinetto.

If you want to find words for songs you can search for =str to find all of them. The character = makes the search find only the exact word "str" and not e.g. Strömstad. Words for songs are marked by a number followed by "str", e.g. "2 str" for two verses. If you want songs from a certain region you can search for e.g. =str dalarna

If you're not sure how a name, place or title is spelled you can use approximate search. Then you will find "near matches" for your spelling. If you for example want to find a Lundkvist but don't know how it was spelled, approximate search will find Lundkvist, Lundqvist and Lundquist (but also Sundkvist och Lindkvist, which also differ by just one letter).

Read the search help to understand more about how you can improve your searches.
